HI! My name is Ezra Jay,
I’m a student taking BS Animation.
I have always enjoyed capturing the beauty of things by making illustrations since I was in elementary school. I created my own characters and even wrote my own stories for fun. Seeing my parents, friends, schoolmates, and teachers enjoy my artworks constantly motivates me to create more and do better at them.
Currently, I’m taking up a Bachelor of Science in Animation at iAcademy (Information and Communications Technology Academy), where I’ve been exposed to several types of illustration, including watercolor paintings and charcoal drawings. This mostly influenced my present digital illustrations which have a painterly, cartoonish, or sometimes a realistic touch to them. The majority of my work consists of illustrations of characters, backgrounds with a lot of vegetation, and occasionally scenes from movies. When I draw digitally, I normally begin with a sketch using an orange brush. It may appear strange, but it helps me feel cheerful and create visually appealing art.
With the skills that I’ve acquired, I would work harder and further improve my abilities by practicing making concept arts so I could work as a concept artist at a large animation studio and be a member of a team that creates animated pictures that would touch the hearts of people of all ages and bring joy to future generations.
